Sherbrooke - Gascon garden 4

This beautiful yard/garden next to a duplex on the corner of Sherbrooke st and Gascon avenue in Montréal will be the setting for a new construction site for new condos which will be built around or as an extension of the current building. See billboard directly below.

How sad is that? It's such a beautiful place. When I took these photos on a warm day in August the yard was such a cool and relaxing place. This new projects highlights one thing: the disappearance of private green space in and around old disappearing small houses or expansions on old buildings such as this one. The number of vanishing small green space during this condo boom is quite sad.
