Photo du jour

Panoramic photo of an old building on the corner of Henri-Julien and Bellechase in Rosemont. I know I'm in the minority here but I love these kind of solid brick buildings. This photo is from the summer of 2013. It was being used for some sort of training facility. I have to go back and see if it's still there.

  1. Yes still there. Owned by the city of Montreal, although I think there are plans to demolish it and build a little neighborhood like they did on Rosemont further east.

  2. I like those buildings too. I'd love to run a hot-rod shop in that type of building!

If I remember correctly, there's a lumber yard west of this building. I've never been, but I wonder if it is, in a way, a neighborhood "institution".

Similar to that BMR on St-Zotique and Des-Écores. My family used to live on Des Écores between that St-Zotique and Beaubien and I remember walking to that hardware store with my dad and our "little red wagon". Good memories! :)
