Narrow Montreal - Montréal étroite

This narrow apartment block, now turned into condos, has been renovated. See the before here. The renovation process has been taking a long time. I'm glad the building has been preserved but I'm not impressed by the work. Oh well...

  1. It looks like further work was done on the building and now the balconies have been included in the renovation (From June, 2015: https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Rue+Saint-Jacques+%26+Rue+Saint-Philippe,+Montréal,+QC+H4C/@45.476871,-73.5880085,3a,75y,347.29h,100.72t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sJbRqeFaEphBkf7PCDrWMLw!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo0.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fcb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile%26output%3Dthumbnail%26thumb%3D2%26panoid%3DJbRqeFaEphBkf7PCDrWMLw%26w%3D374%26h%3D75%26yaw%3D0%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D120%26ll%3D45.476871,-73.588009!7i13312!8i6656!4m2!3m1!1s0x4cc9109e8488535b:0xd4608cb6c6418213!6m1!1e1)

I appreciate that the developer kept the main elements of the building, although I hope they didn't just sandblast the bricks.

Weird that they're trying to sell these as condos and still leave all the graffiti up. Are they committed to selling these places or not?

Can I ask what about what you didn't like about the work?
