I've been contrasting your wonderful timely photos with those in the book:
Quartiers disparus by Catherine Charlebois et Paul-André Linteau. Oddly, although May Street demolition is tiny in scale compared to the 1960's nonsense, somehow I find it more disturbing. Not sure why.
