On going : demolition of convent continues on René Lévesque - Montréal

The back of the old convent - En arrière de l'ancien couvent

The historical convent on René Lévesque in Montréal is still going through a demolition phase in 2014. A big section of the greystone building, on the far left, was demolished. It looks like a war zone. There are so many demolitions going on in Montreal now it's quite amazing!

Le couvent historique sur René Lévesque à Montréal est encore dans une phase de démolition en 2014. Une grande partie du bâtiment de pierre grise, à l'extrême gauche, a été démoli la semaine passé. Cela ressemble à une zone de guerre. Il ya tellement de démolitions maintenant en cours à Montréal que c'est tout à fait étonnant!

Above : The demolition is in 2013, which was halted after the right wing of the convent was partially destroyed. In that photo, the big wing on the far left is what was being demolished this past week. In the photo below, the section is now totally destroyed.

Ci-dessus: La démolition en 2013, qui a été arrêté après l'aile droite du couvent a été partiellement détruite. Dans cette photo, la grande aile à l'extrême gauche, c'est ce qui a été démoli la semaine dernière. Dans la photo ci-dessous, la section est maintenant totalement détruite.
