So they saved *some* details. But not all. Huh. I don't know which scenario is sadder: if the street would have been lost to a developer who'd put up an awful condo project (because, let's face it, 'awful' is about the ONLY type of condo design nowadays) or if the street was lost to making an onramp to a bridge. Just sad all around. Thanks for the updates on the demolition and here's hoping this episode wakes some renovation/preservation thoughts in people.
