Even after many years after the renovations, this famous narrow building in St-Henri is still having difficulty finding a buyer.

There used to be a small house and a HUGE tree, both of which have been demolished and cut down, on this land in St-Henri. It doesn't bode well for the small house in the background. This image is quite telling of what's going on in Montreal.

Il y avait une petite maison et un immense arbre, tous deux démolis et abattus sur ce terrain de St-Henri. Il n'est pas de bon augure pour la petite maison en arrière-plan. Cette image est assez révélatrice de ce qui se passe à Montréal.

The old Canada Post building in St-Henri converted into condos and gym. I dunno about this.. Beautiful building ruined by new condos. The condo itself is not ugly (bland but not ugly) but it just doesn't fit with the grand style of the old building.

L'ancien immeuble de Postes Canada à St-Henri s'est transformé en condos et en gymnase. Je ne sais pas à ce sujet .. Bel immeuble ruiné par de nouveaux condos. Le condo lui-même n'est pas moche (fade mais pas moche) mais cela ne correspond tout simplement pas au style grandiose de l'ancien bâtiment.

No, this is not a set for a sci-fi movie. It's part of the new Mount Stephen hotel. Reviews at Tripadvisor are good.

Non, ce n'est pas undecor pour un film de science-fiction. Il fait partie du nouvel hôtel Mount Stephen. Les commentaires sur Tripadvisor sont positifs.

A new hotel, AC Hotel Montreal (Marriott), next to the also new hotel, Marriott Courtyard, which is also close by to a new hotel, Monville, on De La Gauchetiere and Bleury. There are so many new hotels in Montreal it's mind boggling. Many small buildings were demolished and some nice green space disappeared to make way for this new hotel.

Un nouvel hôtel, l'Hôtel AC Montréal (Marriott), à côté du nouvel hôtel, le Marriott Courtyard, qui se trouve également à proximité d'un nouvel hôtel, Monville, sur De La Gauchetiere et Bleury. Il y a tellement de nouveaux hôtels à Montréal que c'est ahurissant. De nombreux petits bâtiments ont été démolis et de bel espacesvert a disparu pour faire place à ce nouvel hôtel

The much delayed Point Zero hotel project seems to be finally going forward. This has been delayed for at least 5 years. Is it still PZ? Almost no information on this development on the internet so it's difficult to say what exactly is going on. But the (ugly) facade was removed and something is going on there.

Le projet hôtelier de Point Zero semble enfin aller de l'avant. Cela a été retardé d'au moins 5 ans. Est-ce toujours PZ? Presque aucune information sur l'internet à propos de ce développement, il est donc difficile de dire ce qui se passe exactement. Mais la façade (laide) a été enlevée et quelque chose se passe là-bas.
