Cordonnerie/Shoe Repair shop Before & After - HOMA
(image above: google streetview)
On Avenue De La Salle in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, near Adam street. I'm surprised shoe repair shops still existed in Montreal.

J. M. Dostie was a really well known cobbler who was great re-soling climbing shoes. For about $45 he'd re-add a layer of rubber to these technical ballet-like slippers and bring new life to shoes (that cost anywhere from $99-$165 new).
I had friends from Ottawa who would give me their shoes to have him resole. I think I heard he picks up shoes at the climbing gym since closing.
